What do the colors mean?

If abnormal color persists for 48 hours or your cat is exhibiting any signs of distress, consult withyour cat’s veterinarian.  The litter can sometimes change color even when nothing is wrong. A change in diet, environment, or short-term stress can cause changes in your cat’s urine so we recommend taking your cat to your local veterinarian if the color change persists for 24-48 hours.

How much litter do I need?

You need enough PrettyLitter to achieve two inches of depth in all of your litter boxes, so the size of the litter box will affect the amount needed.  With the correct amount of PrettyLitter, one fill should last an entire month for one medium-sized cat.
